NOTABLE CASES
State v. Mr. H. (Case # M02066903): Mr. H. was charged with domestic violence battery against his wife. He was facing 364 days in the county jail. At trial, Mr. H.'s wife testified falsely that he had punched her in the face several times. In spite of this testimony, the defense was able to break down the State's case by showing that Mr. H.'s wife did not have a single physical injury to corroborate her allegations. Not guilty.

State v. Mr. C. (Case # 4328BJB): Mr. C. was pulled over while driving to work one morning. Because he had medication in his car, the police arrested him for driving under the influence. He was facing 180 days in the county jail. At trial, it was shown that Mr. C. had a prescription for the aforementioned medication, and that it would not have had an intoxicating effect. Not guilty.
